While DISH Network is the hands-down value leader in pay-TV, the company is also a pioneer when it comes to delivering top technology to customers.
Because of the close relationship with EchoStar, a leader in TV technological breakthroughs, DISH Network is often first out of the gate with the next big thing in TV.
In 2009, DISH Network introduced the SlingLoaded ViP 922 DVR, the first receiver to truly integrate “TV Everywhere” capabilities. Using Sling technology, the box allows users to view content the traditional way on their TVs or on the go via a PC or iPhone. The ViP 922 was so revolutionary, it was awarded the CNET, Best of CES award in the Home Video category at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held annually in Las Vegas.
Because consumers are becoming more and more likely to mix avenues for receiving content via TV and broadband, DISH Network is paving the way to create a seamless entertainment transition between broadband and TV for customers.
The first step in that direction is Google TV, a collaboration between DISH Network and Google to seamlessly integrate multichannel television with rich web media content.
Google TV merges traditional TV programming with the wide amount of content on the web, allowing viewers unprecedented access, control, and flexibility over all forms of digital content. DISH Network subscribers using Google TV can simultaneously search for content across DISH Network, the Internet and their DVRs. They can overlay online content related to television shows, movies, actors and more; and also hyperlink web content back to multichannel TV.
The Brian Hanson Band has performed throughout the Northwest, sharing the stage
with performers like Brad Paisley, Clint Black, Neal McCoy, Pat Green, Pam
Tillis, Collin Raye, Trick Pony, Little Texas and Lee Greenwood. The band has
appeared at many prestigious events throughout the region including The Oregon
Jamboree, Pendleton Roundup, Portland Rose Festival, & The Sublimity Harvest

Super Charged Country, best describes their style and their
performance as they hold nothing back when they take the stage. Brian and his
fiddle appear to become one with each other and the separation of whether Brian
or the fiddle is in control becomes a blur. The Brian Hanson band is a must see
for anyone who loves music.
Known for their tight vocal harmonies and solid musicianship, local band 3 Quarter Short has been entertaining audiences throughout Oregon for years. This four piece band has an incredibly diverse song list and loves to get
people out on the dance floor. Whether it’s Country or Rock & Roll, they’re sure to please a wide variety of listeners!
